  • In my EME 2040 class & we started using Diigo which I found to be very helpful when sharing articles with valuable information to both peers and friends. I like how you can highlight and add sticky notes to websites that can be seen by those in your group so they can see your thoughts. I also like that you can tag and categorize your articles so they're more organized when you want to access a certain topic in the future. I didn't dislike anything about Diigo except for that i had to re-download the extension every time i entered my class due to the computer reset.
  • Blogging to me is very important when you want to display your ideas and have others opinions on the matter at hand. I like blogging because it forces me to acknowledge the information I have been provided which makes me remember it much more clearly. I've learned that blogging is a form of Web 2.0 in that it is much more participatory and less static. I also learned that blogging is a great form when enhancing Personal Learning Networks (PLN).
  • An interesting Web 2.0 tool that can be used by teachers is Poll Everywhere. Teachers can get feedback from students and even parents either through mobile device, online, or even twitter. This allows a teacher to reflect better on their teaching methods. It also allows them to know the thoughts of their students and how they can change their lesson play so to better help them. Poll Everywhere is also very accessible which gives it a sense of ease of access.
