  • I have learned so much from twitter when it comes to education such as legislation that deals with education that have been recently passed such as those incentivizing education in Florida. Twitter allows you to expand your PLN's very far as you can follow educators & see their thoughts right in the palm of your hand all on the same page. Twitter also allows you to effectively communicate with your community such as other educators & share your thoughts with them. I am not having any overbearing issues with twitter except with the constant display of unrelated tweets & ads that hinder my learning experience through twitters's network.
  • I learned various skills from the web design assignments such as being able to be able to implement my creativity into a class website that engages students with information as well as their parents. I can improve on my assignment by being more elaborate with design to make the information more engaging & intuitive. I can use these web design skills later in my career to better benefit my classroom when keeping students & parents update in an effective way. Heres the link of my website followed by a screenshot: historicaledu.weebly.com

Assistive technology focuses on aiding student's with special needs to better function inside a classroom environment. An example of such devices can be as common as computers to help students who may suffer from impaired eye sight by allowing them to increase or decrease font sizes. There are really big feats for technology when it comes to student with learning disabilities. A great example is how dyslexic students can use spell checkers to improve grammar.
