  • Diggo has been an extremely useful tool because it has taught me many things such as how to bookmark & annotate a website. I can use it in the educational environment by creating an assignment where students all annotate the same resource while also being able to see their classmates thought which is like a pseudo discussion. I can use with with fellow teachers & team members by relaying & receiving resources that could better my profession. I can use it individually by annotating important resources that I find to better understand the content.
  • Powerpoint can be used in various ways so to satisfy Bloom's Taxonomy. It can be used by the teacher to rekey information that students must 1.Remember, which can include questions to guide & gauge student 2.Understanding. By assigning a powerpoint student must learn to 3.Apply the information they learned & 4. Analyze its intricacies which would lead them to 5.Evaluate the information in order to 6. Create a cohesive & engaging powerpoint that they can share with the class.
  • In order to keep the myself knowledgeable & aware of technology trends in education, I will likely use EdSurge because it constantly updates with current news articles that tell what's trending & what innovations we'll likely see in education. Its also very reliable as it provides information to contact authors & editors. It also its concurrently updated so news is always daily recent. Here is a screenshot of the website:

    I'm sure anyone that's reading this post, at some point used Microsoft Word to make an essay for some reason either scholastically or not. Personally, I mainly used word to forge essays that were do in school. Never, have I used MS Word in a creative manner because if I needed to make a presentation, I would just use Microsoft PowerPoint. It wasn't until my EME2040 class in college that I would have to create a newsletter which was very new to me because I lacked the skills for design in word. My educators throughout my schooling never really showed me how to use word in different modes or ways. The most different thing i saw were lesson plans but those weren't unique, they were all nearly the same as if they all shared a template. My experience with copyrights and fair use of materials was taken very seriously except when it came to pictures.     The Introduction to ISTE Standards There are many influences on both teachers & students that causes them to introduce technology in to their curriculum. For students, it allows them to construct & produce unique learning experience which are very useful in the retention of information. Technology also allows students to connect with others globally to enhance their avenues of learning for a form of enrichment. For educators or teachers, it allows them to improve how they teach by being able to connect with other resources technologically. It also allows them to be creative when they deliver lessons so that they can make up for students who better learn in different ways.
